Mental Health 101


This course provides a thorough introduction to mental health, distinguishing between mental health and mental illness, and addressing the societal stigma associated with mental illness. It delves deeper into specific conditions—depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia—to offer a comprehensive understanding of these complex mental states. Depression, anxiety and schizophrenia are explored through their symptoms, impacts, and treatment options, highlighting their prevalence and significance in today’s world. The course aims to foster a deeper appreciation for mental health, challenge misconceptions, and equip learners with knowledge to support individuals affected by these conditions.
