Vaccine Policy Statement
C.M.H.A. H.K.P.R. will require all new staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination status before the first day of employment. For this purpose, an individual is defined as fully immunized equal or greater than 14 days after receiving their second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine series or their first dose of a one-dose COVID-19 vaccine series that is approved by Health Canada.
Compensation and Benefits
At C.M.H.A. H.K.P.R. we offer a compensation package that includes competitive wages, generous paid time off policies, a comprehensive benefits plan, and an employee assistance program. We are also members of the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP), which is available immediately to all full-time, part-time and relief employees.

Student Placements:
C.M.H.A. H.K.P.R. values the significant benefits that strong student placement experiences offer, to not only the students but also our staff who are placement mentors, the organization and the community as a whole.
Our goal is to offer top-notch, well-supported “real-life” professional growth opportunities to students who are interested in community mental health placements at C.M.H.A. H.K.P.R.
We are proud to have an affiliation with the Trent University Department of Social Work and Fleming College. When available, we are pleased to offer practical placements to selected third and fourth year students from Trent University Social Work Programs and periodically to Fleming students in various programs, including Social Service Worker.
In order to help you select the program or service you may be interested in, we encourage you to learn about our different programs and services that have offered student placement in previous years.

C.M.H.A. H.K.P.R. accepts requests for student placements directly from the academic institution. If you are interested in a placement with us, please connect with your academic institution for information on how to apply.
