Mental Health Walk-in Clinic

How the Clinic Works:

The Mental Health Walk-in Clinic allows individuals to be able to access real-time connection to a mental health worker who can assess and support a connection to the appropriate CMHA program or other a program offered by another community agency. It is available to anyone over the age of sixteen not already connected to CMHA services who is ready to explore options for their mental health needs.

Please Note: The Mental Health Walk-in Clinic does not have a medical component and is therefore not able to provide medical notes, complete ODSP applications or provide any psychiatric assessments.

How to Access the Clinic:

To access the Mental Health Walk-in Clinic, you can attend in person at 466 George Street North, Peterborough, or 33 Lindsay Street South, Lindsay. The clinic is open 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and closed from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. *No appointment necessary*

Experiencing a Crisis?:

The clinics are not for individuals who are in crisis.

Individuals who are in crisis or experiencing emotional distress should contact the 9-8-8 National Suicide Crisis Line by calling or texting 9-8-8. Available 24/7/365.
