Art Splash 2018
Jun 6, 2018
The Canadian Mental Health Association Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge (C.M.H.A. H.K.P. R) is pleased to invite the community to participate in the Annual “Art Splash”, a positive, engaging visual arts presentation where you are the artist!
On Friday, June 29 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the empty lot beside Valu-Mart will be transformed into an active art exhibit, thanks to the kind donation of art supplies from Crayola Canada.
Write something positive for others to see. Write something positive you would like someone to say to you. Write something that would encourage, inspire or motivate a passer-by. Through expressive art, let’s break the Stigma of Mental Illness.
This community art project is being presented by the REACH for Recovery Program of C.M.H.A. H.K.P. R. REACH stands for Recovery – Empowerment- Advocacy – Community and Hope. REACH is a C.M.H.A. H.K.P. R. community program that provides services to individuals living with mental health concerns or other significant challenges. Services through REACH assist the person to gain skills necessary to participate fully in their home and community.
