Stress Management and Mental Health Enhancement
This focused training session helps participants build a clear understanding of stress and its impact on daily functioning. Participants explore both helpful stress, which can support motivation, and harmful stress, which can contribute to low mood, anxiety and reduced performance.
The session uses practical examples to show how stress influences concentration, communication and relationships. Participants are introduced to core concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence based approach that teaches how thoughts, feelings and behaviors influence one another. The session also highlights key practices from positive psychology that strengthen resilience and wellbeing.
Participants learn brief, practical exercises that can improve both individual wellness and team culture. In addition to skill development, attendees receive information on a free CBT based program available throughout Canada, with details on how to access. By the end of the session, participants will leave with practical tools that support healthier stress management, improved mood and stronger daily resilience.
