Subject:            Media Conference to Announce Details of CMHA HKPR’s Sixth Annual Ride Don’t Hide Event
Date:                 Friday April 8th, 2022
Time:                 10:00 a.m.
Location:          Tom’s Heating and Cooling – 347 Pido Rd Unit 21, Peterborough

The Canadian Mental Health Association Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge (CMHA HKPR) is pleased to invite media to attend a media conference this Friday, April 8th to announce the details of our sixth annual Ride Don’t Hide event for mental health, presented by Tom’s Heating & Cooling.

Recognizing that COVID-19 has impacted the mental health of our community greatly and has caused greater inequities in accessing care, the funds from this year’s Ride Don’t Hide event will support CMHA HKPR’s new Mobile Mental Health and Addictions Clinic, which is being launched this year. The clinic will travel across the counties of Haliburton, Kawartha, Peterborough, and Northumberland providing mental health and addictions care to under-resourced and underserviced communities.

CMHA HKPR is pleased to partner with Tom’s Heating & Cooling for a second year in a row to present this event.

For more details regarding this year’s Ride Don’t Hide event, media are asked to attend the media conference this Friday, April 8th at 10:00 a.m. at which time event details and sponsors will be announced and media will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from CMHA HKPR and Tom’s Heating and Cooling.
