C.M.H.A. H.K.P.R. recognizes National Receptionist Day

On May 13, 2020, the Canadian Mental Health Association, Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge would like to honour and acknowledge the hard work and dedication of not only our reception team but receptionists everywhere.

According to internationalreceptionistsday.com, National Receptionists’ Day was first launched in 1991 in the US to celebrate the role of professional receptionists. In the years that followed, other countries, including Canada, signed up to support this initiative. Today, it is celebrated across the globe.

National Receptionists Day, the second Wednesday in May, is an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the importance of a receptionist’s role. Usually the first person a client meets when they visit a business or organization, receptionists help ensure a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. Not only that, receptionists offer crucial administrative support in a number of capacities. They truly are invaluable.

At C.M.H.A. H.K.P.R., we are fortunate to have a dedicated team of receptionists who even still, are working to keep our offices functioning, despite the change in service delivery. To all of you, within our organization and beyond, we offer a heartfelt “thank you”.
