Together with our partners in mental health and addictions services, we are committed to continuing the safe delivery of essential supports to those in the communities we serve.
CMHA HKPR continues to adjust our programs and services in accordance with local public health guidelines. Currently, this means that we have shifted the majority of our services and information sharing to virtual or other means. In addition to this, we have implemented an organization-wide staff vaccination policy, we continue to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and we follow universal COVID-19 precautions such as frequent handwashing and physical distancing. All staff and visitors to our offices are required to screen for COVID-19 symptoms prior to entry as well as sign-in to help us with contact tracing. We thank you for your cooperation as we work to ensure that individuals can still get the mental health and addictions support they need safely. In-person services are occurring on a case by case basis determined by our Senior Leadership Team in collaboration with the Management Team and Mental Health Workers.
As of Friday, March 4th, 2022, our SafeBeds facility has reopened with limited capacity due to the current COVID related restrictions related to congregate living settings.
The Four County Crisis line will continue to operate on a 24/7 basis and can be reached at 705-745-6484 or toll-free at 1-866-995-9933.
Given the ever-evolving nature of the pandemic, we are constantly updating our protocols and service delivery to ensure safety for our clients, staff, and the community. For the most up-to-date information on COVID-19 service provisions, or for questions or concerns, please contact us at 705-748-6711 (Peterborough) or 705-328-2704 (Lindsay). You can also follow us on social media for updates @cmhahkpr.
If you are a CMHA HKPR client, your Mental Health Worker will contact you regarding any changes to the service you are receiving.
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate this new normal.
