Safe Beds provide a safe and supportive environment in a beautiful residential home setting for individuals within Peterborough, Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, and Northumberland Counties. A short-term stay is available to all genders 16 years of age and older. The Safe Bed stay assists individuals to decrease or alleviate their crisis through services that are sensitive to individual needs. Safe Beds are a non-medical facility, abstinence based, voluntary, and of no cost to the individual. Clients cannot be a harm to themselves or others, must be willing to follow rules of the house, and be agreeable to work on goals that will assist them to recovery.
